Prices

All prices are subject to change. For all prices, products and offers, Main Street reserves the right to make adjustments due to changing market conditions, product discontinuation, manufacturer price changes, errors in advertisements and any other extenuating circumstances. We are not responsible for typographical or photographic errors.

Prices advertised on this Site are for orders placed in our Online Store. Prices on some items may differ from those quoted or charged by our sales office. Prices and the availability of items are subject to change without notice. Any “list prices” used on this Site are the manufacturers’ suggested retail prices and may not be indicative of the actual selling prices in your area.

We do not provide price protection after a purchase has been made.

Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance by Main Street. All orders placed by customers and accepted by Main Street on our website will create fully enforceable obligations that will be subject to the terms hereof.

Product Availability

Product-availability information presented on the Main Street website is the best, most current information available to Main Street, but errors do occasionally occur and this information does not represent a guarantee or promise of availability.

If a product is not in stock when you place your order, we will do our best to let you know. We will also provide you with our best estimate of when the product will be available. Anticipated delivery dates are dependent on our suppliers and other factors beyond our control and are subject to change.

Delivery

Main Street will make every reasonable effort to meet the customer’s delivery requirements. In the event that we are unable to meet the delivery requirement, the customer’s sole remedy is to cancel the order.

Shipment, Risk of Loss or Damage, and Title

Important – All shortages, damaged or wrong items must be reported within 5 days of order receipt. Please check the product description on the outside of the box before you open it to verify that you received exactly what you need. If you did not receive the correct product, contact us for a return or exchange.

Main Street ships products through standard commercial practices and carriers. Risk of loss or damage and title will pass from Main Street to the customer at the “Ship To” address. The customer takes on full liability for safety and validity of the “Ship To” address given to us at the time of purchase. Main Street will not incur any forwarding costs on shipments where the customer provided the incorrect “Ship To” address.

Payment

Payment terms are subject to Main Street credit approval. Credit card, prepayment by personal check, cashier’s check, or money order will be accepted.

Credit Card charges are not submitted until the time of shipment. Main Street accepts VISA and MasterCard.

Sales Tax and EWRF

Sales tax will be charged on all orders delivered to customers in the State of California. Customers requesting tax exemption must provide the necessary tax-exemption certification.

The State of California’s Electronic Waste Recycle Fee (EWRF) will be charged for all items with a display of 4 inches or greater, as follows:

Warranty

The manufacturers of the products, not Main Street, are responsible for providing the limited warranty service and support for the products we sell. Main Street makes no warranties, express or implied, and disclaims all other warranties, including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or conformity to models or samples.

Support

Main Street will provide product support to the best of our ability for products we sell. In the event that Main Street is unable to resolve a support issue, the customer will be instructed to contact the product manufacturer for customer or technical support, whether the product is still under warranty or not.

Returns

All returns and exchanges must be requested within 3 days of order receipt; please read our Returns Policy for more information. Restock fees may be charged for certain product returns, as determined by the product manufacturer or distributor. For complete information about a particular manufacturer’s return policy, including any possible restock fees, for any product you are purchasing, please request this information prior to placing your order with Main Street.

Returns Policy

Main Street Technologies will do everything possible to quickly resolve any problems you have with your order. However, the manufacturers of the products we sell have very strict return policies, which must be followed when determining whether a request for return can be approved. Please read and follow this policy carefully.

Important Instructions About Every Order You Receive

When you receive your order, check the description on the outside of the manufacturer’s packaging before you open it to verify you have received exactly what you ordered, and also what you need. It is always easier to return an item that is not opened. If you have a problem with an order, please contact us immediately at 800-900-3911, and do not open or discard the manufacturer’s packaging.

Missing or wrong items received must be reported within 3 days of order receipt.

Any Damage Claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. If product arrives damaged or the packaging is not in good condition, please refuse shipment to the delivery driver. You must keep a signed copy of the delivery receipt showing refusal due to the product being damaged or damaged packaging.

Always keep all manufacturer’s packaging until you have installed the item you purchased and you are sure it is working properly. You must always have the manufacturer’s packaging to return any item.

Returns and Exchanges

To return or exchange an item, you must contact us or request a return within 20 days of the sale invoice date. Failure to do so could result in your return request being denied by the manufacturer.

Public-Sector Eligibility

All eligible education, healthcare, government and non-profit customers must be located or reside in the United States of America. Public-sector discount eligibility requirements may vary by manufacturer; therefore, the following requirements are a general overview, but may not be applicable in all cases. Main Street Technologies shall, at its sole discretion, resolve any issues relating to the eligibility of customers to purchase products at public-sector discounts.

All products purchased by eligible public-sector customers must be for internal, administrative, academic, research or instructional use and may not be resold.

Education and Healthcare Eligibility

To be eligible for education and healthcare discounts, you must be one of the following qualified educational users:

  1. An accredited non-profit public or private K-12 or higher educational institution that is organized and operated exclusively for the purpose of teaching its matriculating or enrolled students, which are defined as K-12, vocational and correspondence schools, colleges, universities, scientific and technical schools accredited by a Regional Institutional Accrediting Agency that is recognized by the US Department of Education.
  2. Administrative offices or boards of education of educational institutions as defined in Item 1.
  3. Full and part time faculty and staff of educational institutions as defined in Item 1.
  4. Full and art time enrolled Students of higher educational institutions as defined in Item 1. (K-12 students may not qualify, depending on the particular manufacturer’s eligibility requirements.)
  5. Libraries, research and field stations that are owned, controlled, and operated by educational institutions as defined in Item 1.
  6. Medical or nursing schools, healthcare systems, and research labs that are owned, controlled, and operated by educational institutions as defined in Item 1.
  7. Educational consortia and systems where its members or shareholders are an educational institution as defined in Item 1.
  8. Home school programs, pre-schools, public libraries and museums under certain conditions as determined by a particular manufacturer’s eligibility requirements, please contact us for more information.

Verification of Education Eligibility

Main Street Technologies must obtain verification of education eligibility as follows:

  1. Eligible orders from educational institution must be placed using a school purchase order or school-issued procurement credit card.
  2. Eligible orders from educational institutions must ship to the campus address of the school.
  3. Eligible educational institution faculty and staff must provide a copy of their current school identification card, with school term and year of employment, proof of employment, or written employment confirmation from the department head.
  4. Eligible students from educational institutions must provide a copy of their current school identification card, with school term or year, or a copy of their enrollment confirmation from the Registrar’s office, or a copy of their class schedule with school term or year.

Government Eligibility

To be eligible for government discounts, you must be purchasing for a local, state, or federal government agency of the United States of America, and

  1. the order must be placed by an authorized employee of the government agency.
  2. the order must ship to the business address of the government agency.
  3. the order must be placed using a government purchase order or government-issued procurement credit card.
  4. a tax-exempt ID number must be provided by Federal Agencies requesting tax-free status.

Non-Profit Eligibility

To be eligible for non-profit discounts, you must be a non-profit, charitable organization, and provide a copy of your “determination letter” that officially recognizes your organization’s tax-exempt status under 501-(c)(3) of the IRS Tax Code.

The following are not eligible for non-profit discounts:

  • Private foundations
  • Hospitals not wholly-owned by a university*
  • Healthcare systems
  • Research labs
  • Non-profit lobbyist groups
  • Political, labor, or fraternal organizations

*Hospitals wholly owned by a university are eligible for non-profit or education discounts.
